Vice President, Ground Operations & Cargo – Jazeera Airways With 29 years of experience across ground operations, cargo, and commercial functions, Rethah is a seasoned aviation leader known for driving operational excellence, building high‑performance teams, and shaping ground handling strategy across multiple global carriers. A start-up member of Jazeera Airways, Rethah has played a pivotal role in the airline’s growth and operational transformation. Currently serving as Vice President of Ground Operations & Cargo, he oversees the full spectrum of airport operations, cargo performance, safety, service delivery, and partner management across the network. Educated as a pilot, he discovered an early passion for ground operations , a path that led him to leadership roles in British Airways, Qatar Airways, and Air Arabia. He is an alumnus of the British Airways Ground Operations Management Programme, a foundation that strengthened his expertise in operational standards, regulatory compliance, and customer service excellence. Throughout his career, he has also held responsibilities in sales and marketing, giving him a rare cross‑functional perspective that blends operational depth with commercial insight. Known for his entrepreneurial mindset, Rethah thrives in startup environments, building systems, teams, and processes from the ground up. He is passionate about innovation in ground handling, collaborative partnerships, and elevating the passenger and cargo experience. Outside of work, he is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new cultures and aviation markets.
