Ms. Sunita Lukkhoo is the Head of EIB Group for Southeast Asia and the Pacific at the European Investment Bank (EIB), based in Jakarta.

With more than 22 years at EIB, she leads the Bank’s regional strategy, operations, and representation across Southeast Asia and the Pacific. In this role, she oversees the origination, structuring, and execution of financing across key sectors including renewable energy, energy efficiency, climate change mitigation and adaptation, water, and manufacturing, working closely with governments, public institutions, and financial partners.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Lukkhoo served as Principal Advisor and Regional Manager, responsible for public lending across Asia–Pacific and Europe, leading multidisciplinary teams through project due diligence, loan negotiation, and post-signature monitoring. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Oxford Brookes University and brings deep expertise in structured finance, credit analysis, and development finance in emerging markets.
