Dr. Tony Han is the founder and CEO of WeRide, the only autonomous driving tech company with driverless permits in China, the UAE, Singapore, France and the US. Founded in 2017, WeRide went public on NASDAQ in 2024, becoming the world's first universal autonomous driving and Robotaxi stock. It operates in over 30 cities across 10 countries, with products spanning smart mobility, logistics, and sanitation. Previously, Tony was a founding member of Baidu's Silicon Valley AI Lab and later served as Chief Scientist of Baidu's Autonomous Driving Division. Prior to that, Tony was a tenured professor at the University of Missouri and director of the Computer Vision and Machine Learning Lab. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  For his remarkable achivements at WeRide, Tony was named one of the 2024 Forbes China Leaders in Technology and Innovation and included in the 2024 Forbes China 'Go-International Pioneers Top 30 Selection'.
