Stina Torjesen joined Morrow in June 2022 and has worked on sustainability related issues for over a decade as a consultant and through teaching and research. She is helping position Morrow Batteries as a sustainability champion in the battery sector and her responsibilities include enabling recycling/use of recycled content in new battery cell production, establish and maintain ESG risk management, supervise the development of LCA road maps for further reductions of CO2/kWh, develop comprehensive digital procedures for ESRS compliant ESG reporting, address challenges related to nature/ biodiversity and prepare for the introduction of digital product passport ('battery passport'). Stina holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Cambridge and an MPhil and DPhil from the University of Oxford. She maintains a part-time position as Assoicate Professor at the UiA School of Business and Law where she has done research on European and global battery policies, including chairing a work package on European battery policies in a major research project (BATMAN). She worked previously with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (Nupi) and SIGLA.
