Dheeraj is CEO of Door2Door/Citylink Shuttle, leading innovation in passenger transport through digital innovation and sustainable mobility. As Group CEO of City Group Co., Kuwait, he drove the digital transformation of Kuwait’s public transport, introducing Account-Based Ticketing and digitalizing CityBus operations. Following the acquisition of Germany-based Door2Door, he launched Kuwait’s first demand-responsive transit service—Citylink Shuttle—and expanded it into Dubai and KSA to ease urban congestion. Played a major role in the development of India’s Supercomputer PARAM and mission critical  applications, instrumental in transforming Construction Industry in the UK and Middle East, developed Innovation Strategy for $25 bn Crossrail project (now known as Elizabeth line) in London and award winning “Dubai Innovation Index”. As a digital & innovation strategy consulting lead of PwC, Dheeraj has developed several transformational strategies for Road and Transport Authority in Middle East such as Innovation Strategy, Marine PPP model, Automated Fare Collection (AFC) strategies and commercialization of several government entities in KSA   Dheeraj holds a PhD in Computing Science (IIT Delhi) and an MBA (Imperial College London), has authored 50+ research papers, and is a two-time recipient of the Government of India’s Young Scientist Award.
