Donovan Blaylock is a seasoned identity and access management (IAM) practitioner, product developer, and strategist with more than 20 years of experience helping enterprises modernize identity security. He has advised Fortune 1000 organizations on selecting and deploying the right identity solutions to reduce risk, improve user experience, and accelerate digital transformation. As Senior Director of Solutions Engineering, Donovan leads technical sales and engineering teams to translate complex security requirements into practical architectures, demonstrations, and outcomes—focusing on the last mile of IAM, disconnected systems and applications. He is also a veteran technology speaker who regularly shares thought leadership on identity security, authentication modernization, and emerging security trends.
Prior to his current role, Donovan served as Chief Technology Evangelist and Healthcare Strategy Lead at SailPoint for seven years. Earlier in his career, he led consulting engagements within Trace3’s IAM practice, supporting organizations across industries with
identity strategy and implementation.
