IGA Programs Suck. A Field Study of How AI Can Get You Back on Track.

3 Practical Applications of AI to Keep Up with the Mess and Take your IGA Program to a Whole Different Level.

Most IGA programs succeed at the start and stall in the middle. The platform gets picked, the first dozen apps go in fine, then coverage flattens. Usually years before the program reaches the applications carrying real risk.

This session presents findings from a study of enterprise onboarding programs, breaking down where time actually goes on a single application. The build turns out to be the smallest part of it.

We'll cover the failure modes practitioners recognize but rarely measure. The app whose only expert left in 2016. The entitlement nobody can explain. The connector that quietly stopped returning complete data three quarters ago.

Then where AI can keep you ahead of the curve.

Takeaways

  • Where onboarding effort actually goes, and why the technical build is the smallest share
  • The failure modes that predict a stalled program, and how to spot them in quarter one
  • Three applications of AI you can put to work now, what each gives back, and where it stops
  • What still needs someone who understands the business, and why that's the good news
