Bill Schlough has served as the San Francisco Giants’ CIO for 28 seasons. During his tenure, the Giants have been recognized among the most innovative teams in sports, with Oracle Park serving as the first facility to deploy innovations ranging from WiFi to dynamic pricing to 4K video. Schlough’s team has also supported the baseball operation in implementing an array of proprietary analytic tools that helped the team secure three World Series titles. An Olympic enthusiast, Schlough assisted with San Francisco’s bids to host the Games on three occasions. His event experience includes assignments at the World Cup along with eleven Olympic Games around the world. A San Francisco native and Ironman triathlete, Schlough holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Duke and an MBA from Wharton.
