Hi, I'm Tom Sherring, Apple Platform Lead for the ICT Services division at the Department for Education South Australia. I've been with the Department since September 2021 and in that time have worked across a number of ICT teams, supporting the deployment and management of Apple technology. In my current role of Apple Platform Lead within our ICT Digital Architecture team, I am responsible for overseeing the strategy and infrastructure development related to the use of Apple technlology across our school, preschool and corporate environments. This typically focususes on our use of centralisated platforms - Apple School Manager and Jamf School - along with additional services such as Edusync Apple by Wonde that help connect these platforms to facilitate eduction-specific functionality such as Shared iPad and Apple Classroom.  Prior to joining the Department, I worked for Apple for 6 years in various roles within the retail division, primarily in business sales and account management.
