Rebecca is the 2024 TeachX Excellence in Teaching award winner and has been involved in the EdTech space for over 15 years. She is an evidence-informed teacher and school leader with experience in integrating technology to support children with additional learning needs and to develop children's creativity. She has a background in the Primary Years Programme and the Montessori method. Rebecca is the founder of The Digital Parent, a support service for parents looking to navigate technology with their children, and of TeachMeet Sunshine Coast. She also works within the space of gender equality in STEM, aiming to increase girls' participation in technology within schools.
