Nadia brings over a decade of experience as an educator and leader in tertiary education, including five years dedicated to academic integrity. She is passionate about transforming fear-driven narratives around academic integrity into a positive, student-centred, and restorative justice approach. In the first role of its kind in the VET sector, Nadia has been instrumental in developing an academic integrity framework and implementing initiatives across each strategy. Since the advent of Generative AI, one of her key initiatives has been equipping educators with the knowledge and skills to use these tools ethically and strategically, demonstrating their potential to enhance learning and minimise integrity breaches. Her work also emphasises the importance of prioritising human connection and humanness as AI continues to grow.
