Marg Mibus, Manager Aboriginal Access Centre & Chief Executives Principal Advisor – First Nations, TAFE

  I am an Arrente woman from the Alice Springs Tilmouth/Miller family. born and raised in Port Augusta and residing in Adelaide for the past 28 years, have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren.   For the past 29 years I have been working in the areas of Aboriginal employment and training across a variety of areas, starting my public service career in TAFE SA in Port Augusta, My employment history has included Liaison Officer Job Club Manager & Rehabilitation Counsellor, t, Aboriginal Health as a Careers Advisor  for Nursing, Medicine and Allied Health Senior Policy Officer – DECS / DFEEST to complete the writing of an Aboriginal Employment Strategy. In 2008 I was appointed to my current position, Director - Aboriginal Access Centre (AAC) in TAFE SA responsible for Aboriginal programs across SA excluding the APY Lands. In July 2024 I took on the additional role of Chief Executive Principal Advisor First Nations.
