Ian Li is Director of Research and Policy at the Australian Centre for Student Equity and Success, based at Curtin University. He is an economist with interests in the areas of health and labour economics and the economics of education. His current research focus is on higher education equity, with a focus on student and graduate outcomes spanning the higher education life cycle from pre-access to beyond graduation. Ian is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has received numerous institutional and international awards for his teaching. He has held visiting appointments at Harvard University, Swansea University and the University of Melbourne. Ian's work is dedicated to improving equity and student outcomes in higher education, and taking an evidence-based approach to higher education policy.
