Adam Wollins is the Director of ICT at Hills Grammar School. With a passion for leveraging new technologies to enhance educational experiences, Adam brings a wealth of expertise to his role. His commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements in information and communication technology (ICT) ensures that Hills Grammar School remains at the forefront of digital innovation in education. Adam has worked in education (ICT) for over 20 years, leading the evolution and support of ICT infrastructure in NSW Public Schools. Previously, as the Director of Infrastructure and Coordination with DoE NSW, Adam worked closely with Schools Infrastructure NSW. He led the ICT Operational Readiness teams in the design, development and deployment of all IT Infrastructure and technologies in new and refurbished schools. His team was a mixture of technical SME's and ICT integrators (teachers with a passion for technology) who delivered professional learning in Schools to maximise the effective utilisation of technology in Teaching and Learning. In early 2020, Adam formed and led the Incident Coordination and Response Team. The team was responsible for effectively coordinating the NSW Dept of Education Technology response to the COVID pandemic, to ensure the continuity of teaching and learning throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, which saw over 800,000 students across NSW suddenly needing to learn from home. His strategic vision aligns ICT initiatives with the educational objectives of all schools, fostering a dynamic learning environment for students and educators alike. Through his guidance, numerous schools have successfully implemented cutting-edge solutions that empower students to excel in an increasingly digital world.
