Greg Miller | Principal
Chevalier College

Greg Miller, Principal, Chevalier College

Greg Miller is a visionary educational leader with a strong desire to transform learning.  Since 2023, Greg has served as Principal of Chevalier College, where he has encouraged the staff, students and parents daringly to ask, ‘Why might education look like in 3 to 5 years?’ This has resulted in the implementation of a ‘future facing vision’ for Chevalier which, from the beginning of 2024, includes:

  • early commencement of HSC for Year 9 and 10 students,
  • dedicated wellbeing lessons and SIM (Strengths, Interests and Motivation) lessons for Year 7 to 10 students, and
  • flexible learning which sees some students in Years 10, 11 and 12 learn at home on some Mondays.
From 2016 to 2022, Greg served as Principal Leader of St Luke’s Catholic College, Marsden Park, Sydney, Australia. St Luke’s is establishing the ‘new normal’ for preschool to post-school learning by combining five educational services of preschool, primary, secondary, out of hours schools care and a high needs hub, all within the one Catholic learning community. This all takes place within an extended school day, 6.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, and supports the school’s vision to nurture faith-filled, curious children to become creative contributors and innovative problem solvers for a changing world.  Previous to his time at St Luke’s, Greg served as the Secondary Schools Consultant in the Diocese of Broken Bay, following 7 years as Principal of Mater Dei Catholic College in Wagga where he stridently advanced the quality of learning and leadership. With a Master of Education - Knowledge Networks and Digital Innovation, a Master of Education - Leadership, and a Graduate Certificate in Boys’ Education, Greg epitomises lifelong learning.  With an ability to ‘get people on board’, Greg’s passion for learning wins commitment from staff, students and the wider community. As a creative, strategic and analytical thinker, and with the invaluable support of excellent staff, engaged parents and supportive community partnerships, Greg acts with the ‘fierce urgency of the now’ by collaboratively working with other educational thought leaders to ensure Chevalier is #futurefacing.
