Erika Bagnes is a Mathematics educator at De La Salle Santiago Zobel School, where she has been teaching for seven years. She currently serves as a High School Mathematics Teacher and Grade Level Team Leader, supporting collaborative practices and innovative approaches to Mathematics education. Passionate about meaningful and authentic learning, she designs inquiry-based, problem-based, and interdisciplinary learning experiences that connect Mathematics with real-world issues. She integrates educational technology and digital tools to encourage students to explore, create, collaborate, and apply mathematical thinking beyond the classroom. Through her work, she continues to explore how technology, interdisciplinary learning, and student-centered pedagogy can transform Mathematics classrooms into spaces where learners see Mathematics not simply as a subject to master, but as a tool for understanding and shaping the world around them.
