Duncan's purpose is to inspire colleagues to become technically and pedagogically outstanding teachers and leaders who deliver a world-class educational experience, whilst embracing well-being and enabling pupils and staff to flourish.

He values continued professional learning, being a Google and Apple Educator, also having completed his MA in Digital Education (2021) and currently undertaking his NPQSL (2023-24). He has moderated, hosted and been part of EdTech panels at EduTech Malaysia, EduTech Asia, Oustanding Schools Asia, Fobisia JAL and COBIS conferences and will also be running a strategic vision workshop at EduTech Asia in November 2023.

A hands-on practical workshop that will cut through the noise of creating and implementing a sustainable digital strategy. An opportunity to unpack your school’s strategy and combine current technological trends with realistic actions that put students at the heart of learning.

We feel that developing a digital culture in your school which encourages collaboration amongst all stakeholders whilst raising student voice is critical to long-term and sustainable success. The workshop will include collaborative group work that explores:

Implementation processes
Use of planning tools to solve their own digital challenges
Utilising Nolan Principles to understand your role as a leader and strategic planner.

The workshop is underpinned by the need of attendees to acknowledge that context is key to purposeful and meaningful integration. The workshop also aims to give participants the confidence and realisation of where they are on their digital journey and the need to collaborate with others.
