Beyond the Classroom Australia is a purpose-driven organisation dedicated to supporting educator wellbeing and leadership across diverse school communities. Founded by experienced school leader Peta Jeppesen, the organisation offers coaching, professional learning, and whole-school programs that are practical, relational, and grounded in real classroom experience.
At the heart of Beyond the Classroom’s work is the Dare to Be a Rockstar program — a structured, evidence-informed approach to building emotional resilience, leadership capacity, and a shared language of wellbeing among staff and students. The program is aligned with the CASEL 5 framework and designed to meet the real-world demands of today’s educators.
What sets Beyond the Classroom apart is its relational coaching model and deep understanding of school culture. With over two decades of experience — from principal to teacher aide — Peta Jeppesen brings authenticity and compassion to every partnership. The organisation works alongside schools, not above them, to co-create sustainable wellbeing practices that genuinely transform culture and climate.
With strong partnerships, including a developing research collaboration with Monash University, Beyond the Classroom is committed to driving meaningful, measurable change in how schools support the people at the heart of education — their educators.
