The Association of Science Technology and Innovation (ASTI) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting the advancement of science, technology, and innovation, particularly among youth. Established with the mission to inspire and nurture scientific thinking and innovation, ASTI focuses on empowering the next generation through hands-on learning experiences, workshops, and educational programs. The organization emphasizes creative problem-solving and critical thinking, encouraging students to explore and engage with science in a fun, interactive manner.
Association of Science, Technology and Innovation (ASTI) has developed a variety of programme and activities in order to benefit the students and teachers. The Association of Science, Technology and Innovation (ASTI) is working towards empowering young people interest in science and technology through the act of doing (i.e. hands-on) where learning is achieved as they take the journey of discovery and immerse themselves in that experience.
In order to achieve this vision, ASTI has developed many projects that has successfully gained traction among the respective target groups such as the Science Fair for Young Children (SFYC), Young Inventors Challenge (YIC), ASTI Feynman Challenge (AFC), ASTI Leap Challenge (ALC), Young Inventors Journal (YIJ), Young Technopreneurs Challenge (YTC) and many more. Each of these programmes are interlinked with specific learning outcomes in order to provide a platform for participants to learn in a holistic manner depending on the individual journey of development from understanding basic principles to using them to solve simple and complex problems.
