Dr. Eassa Abdullah is the Director of CPG Laboratories at the College of Petroleum Engineering & Geosciences, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), where he leads the strategic development and operations of more than 80 petroleum engineering and geoscience laboratories. He also serves as the primary liaison between KFUPM and industry partners, fostering collaborations that advance research, innovation, and technology transfer. In addition to his leadership role, Dr. Abdullah teaches in the Department of Petroleum Engineering. His research focuses on reservoir characterization, petrophysics, laboratory automation, and digital transformation for reservoir evaluation. He has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading international journals, making significant contributions to the fields of reservoir characterization and petroleum engineering. Dr. Abdullah is the recipient of the KFUPM Excellence Award and the SPE Presidential Award Champion, recognizing his contributions to research, innovation, and leadership.
