Saul Walker is the Director of Public Partnerships at CEPI, leading collaboration with international and regional partners to advance shared objectives on rapid vaccine development and equitable access for emerging epidemic and pandemic pathogens. He also works to ensure CEPI’s develops respectful partnerships in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Previously, Saul spent 17 years in leadership roles at the UK Department for International Development (latterly FCDO), including Deputy Director for COVID-19 Vaccine, Therapeutics and Diagnostics, Deputy Director for Ebola response, Chief of Staff for Asia Division and various Senior Health Advisor roles. He also worked as a Senior Health Specialist at the World Bank Mozambique office and held senior policy roles international product development organisations and in UK health policy oragnisations. Saul holds Masters degrees from the Univesity of Cambridge and the University of Warwick and was awarded an OBE in 2020 for services to international development.
