Marco Cavaleri, Head of Public Health Threats, European Medicines Agency

Marco Cavaleri is the Head of Public Health Threats at the European Medicines Agency (EMA). He leads EMA activities on emerging pathogens, vaccines, and antimicrobial resistance, and previously chaired the EMA’s COVID-19 Taskforce. With extensive experience in both industry and regulatory roles, he plays a crucial part in guiding vaccine development and approval processes in Europe.
