Leonardo earned his PhD in Biotechnology in 2011 through a collaboration with the Carnegie Institution for Science at Stanford University, followed by experience as an Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral fellow and Research Scientist. In 2016, he joined Ingenza, where he now serves as Vice President of Research and Technology Development and leads a multidisciplinary team of molecular biologists, bioprocess scientists, and analytical chemists, advancing innovative biologics and small molecules from discovery to first-in-human trials.
