Ana Bernado-Cancedo | Senior Associate
NATO Innovation Fund

Ana joined the NATO Innovation Fund as a Senior Associate and is excited about the potential of technology to drive growth and societal welfare. In particular she will help build NIF’s strategy and portfolio for biotech, biosecurity, synthetic biology and human enhancement. She will also be taking a closer look at companies focusing on materials, autonomous systems and energy. Prior to joining the NIF, Ana was a Senior Associate at Amadeus Capital Partners – one of Europe’s leading deep tech venture capital firms – where she focused on life sciences and biotech investments. Prior to VC she worked as a management consultant in London. Ana holds a PhD in Biophysics from the University of Cambridge and a MChem from Universidad Complutense of Madrid.
