Dr. Ruwan Rekogama is Deputy General Manager, Product Development & Management (Digital & Micro Business) at Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), where he leads the development and management of digital products and services that support the company's digital transformation and business growth initiatives. His role focuses on product strategy, innovation, and the commercialization of digital solutions for consumer and enterprise markets.

With more than a decade at SLT, Ruwan has held leadership positions across digital product management, fixed broadband product development, and network technology. Prior to his current role, he served as Deputy General Manager – Product Development & Management (Digital), where he oversaw the development of SLT's digital services portfolio. Earlier, he led fixed broadband product development and management, and previously worked as a Wi-Fi and Online Charging System (OCS) Project Engineer, contributing to the rollout and enhancement of the operator's broadband and digital service platforms.

Before joining Sri Lanka Telecom, Ruwan held engineering and business development roles at Geoid Information Technologies and Geo Informatics International, where he worked on electronics, communications, and technology-driven business development initiatives.

Ruwan holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, a Master's degree in Project Management from the University of West London, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. A Chartered Engineer in both the UK and Sri Lanka, he is also a member of several professional engineering and marketing institutions. His expertise spans digital product development, telecommunications, project management, broadband services, business strategy, and digital transformation.
