Md. Sanjid Hossain, Head of Commercial Partnerships, Robi Axiata

Md. Sanjid Hossain is Head of Commercial Partnerships at Robi Axiata, where he leads strategic partnerships across digital services, OTT platforms, content ecosystems, loyalty programmes, value-added services, and emerging commercial growth initiatives.

He has over 17 years of experience spanning telecommunications, digital services, fintech, banking, advertising technology, and digital transformation across South Asia and Southeast Asia. His expertise covers partnership development, digital business growth, customer engagement, brand strategy, product innovation, monetisation, and transformation programmes.

Prior to his current role, Md. Sanjid served as Associate Director, Digital Transformation and Vice President, Special Projects in the CEO Office at Robi Axiata, where he worked on initiatives focused on digital transformation, customer experience, smartphone and data adoption, GenAI adoption, innovation, and brand transformation.

Before rejoining Robi's leadership team, he founded advisory firm d-logiK, providing consulting services in digital banking, IT transformation, digital strategy, and fintech partnerships. He also held senior leadership positions at Wing Bank Cambodia, where he led brand and digital marketing during the organisation's transition from fintech provider to fully licensed bank, and at ADA, where he was responsible for strategic partnerships, data monetisation initiatives, mobile advertising platforms, and new revenue development in Cambodia.

Earlier in his career, Md. Sanjid spent more than five years with Robi Axiata's Digital Services division, leading the development and growth of the operator's digital advertising, AdTech, and mobile marketing businesses. He also held marketing and communications roles with Dhaka Bank, Southeast Bank, and Grameenphone.

Md. Sanjid holds an MBA in Marketing and Human Resources from the Institute of Business Administration, Jahangirnagar University, and a Bachelor's degree in Information and Communications Engineering from East West University. He has also completed executive studies in business leadership through the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
