Kelvin Chua is Head of R&D at Circles.Life, where he leads research and development initiatives focused on telecom innovation and digital communications platforms.
With more than two decades of experience in telecommunications and VoIP technologies, Kelvin has worked across network infrastructure, communications software, and mobile services. Prior to joining Circles.Life, he co-founded Sipsurge and served as CTO of NextIX Inc., where he led the development of open-source VoIP and video telephony platforms. His work in the Philippines’ telecom and technology ecosystem earned industry recognition, including multiple innovation awards at international telecom and open-source conferences.
Kelvin has also worked as a consultant for organisations including the University of the Philippines, Stratpoint Technologies, and local government ICT initiatives, focusing on VoIP infrastructure, contact centre systems, and communications platform development.
He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of the Philippines, and has completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is also named as an inventor on patents related to computer telephony integration and converged communications systems.
