Eddie Tay is Vice President of Networks at Equinix, where he leads the company’s networks business across Asia Pacific. His work focuses on digital infrastructure and interconnection, bringing together enterprises, network operators and service providers across Equinix’s regional ecosystem.

Eddie brings more than 20 years of telecommunications experience, with a track record spanning sales leadership, market development, carrier services and international connectivity. Since joining Equinix in 2017, he has held progressively senior regional positions covering networks, media and content, as well as sales leadership across South Asia and Asia Pacific.

Prior to Equinix, Eddie was Vice President of Vodafone Carrier Services for Asia Pacific and Japan. He previously spent seven years as Vice President for Asia Pacific at Cable & Wireless and held regional and international sales roles with Tata Communications and C2C USA.

His experience spans telecommunications, digital infrastructure, IP and data services, carrier business, interconnection, commercial strategy and the development of emerging markets across Asia Pacific. Eddie studied Accounting and Finance at Nanyang Technological University.
