Baljit Singh is a cybersecurity and enterprise IT specialist with over 24 years of experience in information security, IT architecture, and technology governance across global IT enterprises. He currently leads Cybersecurity Strategy, Planning, and Governance at Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB), where he plays a key role in shaping the cybersecurity framework supporting Malaysia’s national 5G rollout.

Before joining DNB in 2021, Baljit held senior cybersecurity leadership roles at Axiata Group and Celcom Axiata, focusing on cybersecurity strategy and architecture at a group-wide level. His previous roles include Enterprise Architect at Experian, Chief Architect at Hewlett-Packard, and Lead Security Architect at HCL HP, where he helped develop IT security frameworks for major clients in telecommunications, banking, oil & gas, and retail.

Baljit’s expertise spans enterprise architecture governance, infrastructure security planning, team leadership, and aligning technology initiatives with business strategy. He has led cross-regional teams and has worked extensively with clients such as Shell, Nokia, and CIMB, designing and delivering secure, scalable enterprise IT solutions.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Information Systems) from Universiti Malaya and is fluent in both English and Malay.
