Caroline Yin Yin Htay is CEO of Nine Communications Co. Ltd (formerly Ooredoo Myanmar), where she leads national transformation efforts in Myanmar’s telecom landscape. With over 20 years of experience across finance, telecommunications, and business leadership, she is known for delivering strong operational performance and driving turnaround strategies under challenging market conditions.
Previously CEO of Ooredoo Myanmar, Caroline successfully steered the company through its M&A transition while leading business growth, regulatory negotiations, and organizational restructuring. Prior to that, she served as Group CFO at AP Towers and Chief Business Officer at Telenor Myanmar, where she tripled B2B revenue within two years and launched innovative enterprise solutions.
Caroline has deep expertise in financial strategy, corporate governance, and business transformation, having also served as CFO and Head of Tax & Treasury during her tenure at Telenor. Her early career included regional finance roles at Motorola Solutions and StarHub, where she led IFRS implementations, ERP rollouts, and strategic finance initiatives.
