Alex Tan is an experienced international senior executive with over 40 years of expertise in Tech, telecommunications, and healthcare of the ageing population. He has held C-level management positions and served on boards and executive committees across various organizations. 

His current focus on AI has led to multiple projects in the field of AI for Healthcare, Security, and Eldercare Institutions. He is also a founding member of Australian AI foundation focused on AI Startups and Venture funding and M&A, across Asia. 

As the founder of ALT Consultants, now in its 30th year, he has provided strategic consulting in Start Up Ventures, Sales for Shareholder exits, Mergers, Acquisitions across the AI, Telecom, Data Center, Tech and Health Care sectors. 

He founded APACCache Pte Ltd, a strategic partner of Zenlayer (formerly known as ChinaCache North America Ltd) with a focus on CDN and Data Centers deployment across ASEAN. 

He founded BW Generation Pte Ltd, one of the early pioneer business startups in Singapore, serving the ageing populations across ASEAN. 

Throughout his career, he has successfully led business restructuring, start ups, business exits, market entry, market expansion, and joint ventures across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. 

His leadership roles include CEO and Board Member of Deutsche Telekom Asia Pacific & Middle East, Country Head and Board Member for Nokia Siemens Networks in Asia-Pacific, and Group Managing Director of I-Mobile Public Co Limited. CEO and Board Member Samart Telecoms Public Co Ltd. 

He has also held senior positions at Telstra, as Regional Director South Asia based in Bangkok and Singapore. DTAC as Group Director Strategy and Executive Committee Member. At Digital Phone Co, subsidiary of Advanced Info Service Public Co, he was the founding executive team, Director of Sales and Marketing. 

Alex has a Marketing background and holds an MBA in Finance and has served as a lecturer in strategy, finance, and marketing in Australia and Singapore. His extensive experience spans multiple industries, reflecting his ability to drive strategy, execution, and business transformation.
