Alex Tan is an experienced international Entrepreneur, Investor and C Level Officer,. His career in Tech and Telecommunications and HealthCare spans over 42 years.  He was the founder of 2 successful startups one in Telecom Data Center, ALT Consultants and the other in HealthCare. He has since sold his Health business after 10 successful years, and winning multiple business awards. He is currently the Managing Director and Founder of ALT Consultants, with businesses in Singapore, Thailand and Australia for over 40 years.  In Thailand, ALT Consultants is in a partnership that manages Thailand’s largest data center customers based in Bangkok. Before he retired from employment, to pursue his entrepreneur endeavours, Alex was CEO and Board Member of Deutsche Telekom Asia and Middle East.  He was also the Country Director and Board of Nokia Siemens Asia Pacific. Other C Level appointments include, Regional Vice President for Telstra South Asia operations, based in Bangkok and Singapore. He was CEO for Samart Telecom Public Company and Group Managing Director of Smart iMobile International, in partnership with  Axiata. Alex was the Chief Marketing Officer of Digital Phone Company, that launched Hello 1800 Thailand’s 3rd mobile operator. He was later appointed as Group Director of Strategy for DTAC when they were a Telenor JV. ALT Consultants, is currently focused on Venture Capital, Private Equity and M&A with a special emphasis on business expansion and exit, cash out strategies.
