Stephen Maguire is the founder and CEO of Sparx Services Australia and was personally appointed by Geoffrey Sparx, CEO of Sparx Systems, to represent the brand across the Oceania region. With over 30 years of experience, Stephen is a recognised expert in enterprise, business, technology, and systems modelling for both public and private sector organisations.

A Canberra native, Stephen’s roots in government and research have strongly influenced his career. With academic credentials in linguistics, mathematics, computer science, and teaching, he brings a distinctive interdisciplinary perspective to enterprise and systems architecture. His early exposure to public service and academia continues to inform his approach to complex problem-solving and strategic transformation.

Stephen has worked across a wide range of domains in the public and private sectors — including Aerospace, Transport, Travel, Defence, Education, Finance, Aged Care, Insurance, Property, Science, Environment, Health and Medical, Logistics, Utilities, Legal, and more. He has led numerous transformational projects in these sectors, driving measurable outcomes and aligning enterprise architecture with real-world needs.
