Simon is a leading Australian technology and policy expert, currently CEO of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), representing tech companies to government and media. He has driven major policy reforms in areas such as AI, cybersecurity, tech skills, and digital regulations. Simon has advised top global tech firms, led trade delegations, and authored influential policy papers. He previously led AHEDA and worked in senior roles at Accenture and for a federal cabinet minister. Simon holds an Honours degree in Political Science.
