Hein Taljaard is the Data & AI Practice Manager at ASI Solutions, with around 20 years’ experience working across data, process, and automation. His focus is on how organisations bring these together in practice—looking at how people work, how policy shapes behaviour, and how platforms support consistent, repeatable outcomes.

He works closely with organisations to strengthen the foundations that make data usable at scale, including ownership, governance, and operating disciplines such as DataOps and DevOps. Hein’s perspective is shaped by years of working in complex, regulated environments, where the real challenge is not access to technology, but aligning ways of working so data and automation genuinely support better decisions.
