As President of Diakon Logistics, Rob leads one of the nation’s premier third-party logistics (3PL) providers, specializing in last-mile home delivery solutions for the country’s top appliance and furniture retailers. What began as a complex challenge — delivering big, bulky items on time, damage-free, and affordably — has become Diakon’s signature strength under his leadership. Drawing on deep experience across logistics, transportation, technology, and finance, Rob has guided Diakon through rapid evolution. He expanded the company’s on-demand delivery capabilities, built seamless technology-enabled operations, and created a model that makes premium white-glove service accessible to retailers of every size. The result? Happier customers, lower delivery costs, and stronger partnerships with some of the biggest names in home goods. Passionate about eliminating friction in the customer journey, Rob believes the final mile should be the best part of the buying experience — not the most stressful. His strategic vision and relentless focus on innovation have solidified Diakon’s reputation as a trusted, forward-thinking logistics partner nationwide. A proud graduate of the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business, Rob served as President of the National Home Delivery Association in 2023–2024 and continues to serve on its Board of Directors. He lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife and their four daughters.
