Attendee Warning

It has been brought to our attention that there are fraudulent companies contacting participants, offering to “sell” our Attendee List or requesting data or money for misleading directory or event services, like accommodation.

 

Please see an example fraudulent email communication below:

 

Some examples of companies we know about include:

• An organization called 'infocusleads.com' - individuals include 'Brenda Lane', email: brenda.lane@infocusleads.com

• An organization called 'Shaik Data Stream LLC' - individuals include 'Henry Clarke', email: henry@shaikdatastream.com

• An organization called 'Optel Technology' or 'Optel Tech' - individuals include 'Tom Craft' and 'Frank Wilson, emails: tom.craft@opteltechs.com and frank.wilson@optel-tech.com

• An organization called 'Elite Gen Hubs' - individuals include 'Zara Morris', email: zara.morris@elitegenhubs.live

• An organization called 'Exhibition Lists', acting as HDW employees. Individuals include 'Emma Pearson', email emma.p@exhibitionlists.com

• A person called 'Ruby Johnson', email: ruby.b2bsolutions@outlook.com

• An organization called 'AttendeesData360' - individuals include 'Lisa Trevor', email: lisa.trevor@attendeesdata360.live

• An email called sarahjames369@hotmail.com

• An email called ameliasophie546@gmail.com

• An email called anisaculf2@gmail.com

• An email called maya.attendeeslistinfos@gmail.com

We suspect there may be others also involved in this type of scam.

 

None of these companies are affiliated with us. Most don’t even include real contact details.

 

Unfortunately, this is quite a common scam within the exhibition industry where the organizer publishes an exhibitor list on its website and event app. We would like to reassure all our clients that we NEVER sell or share our attendee data. Therefore, anyone claiming to be in possession of our attendee lists or be acting as our agent to sell our data is a complete fraud i.e. this is a scam.

 

We have received copies of some of the emails and voicemails they are sending and are investigating the organizations involved, but if you have any further information or you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
