Floyd Christofferson is Vice President of Product Marketing at Hammerspace. For more than 25 years, he has worked at the intersection of large-scale data infrastructure and the industries that depend on it, including high-performance computing, media and entertainment, life sciences, research, and enterprise IT.

Throughout his career, Floyd has focused on the challenges of storing, managing, protecting, and operationalizing massive volumes of unstructured data. His experience spans data management, archive, hybrid cloud, AI infrastructure, and high-performance computing environments, helping organizations navigate the growing complexity of data-intensive workloads.
 
Prior to Hammerspace, Floyd held executive leadership roles in the data management and storage industry, including a decade at SGI working with some of the world’s largest HPC storage and data-intensive computing environments. He is a frequent speaker and writer on AI infrastructure, data orchestration, hybrid cloud architectures, and the evolving role of data platforms in supporting AI and HPC initiatives.
