Tamara is the Executive Editor for Data and Databases at the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). She manage the RSC's database products (ChemSpider, MarinLit and The Merck Index* Online) as well as a team of content editors and information specialists. Together with colleagues from across the company, she is working on data sharing and Open Science initiatives. Since 2024, she has been a titular member of the IUPAC Committee on Publications and Cheminformatics Data Standards. Before starting at the RSC, Tamara worked as a Scientific and Senior Editor at different commercial publishers, where she was involved in data publishing initiatives, as well as promoting data sharing and revising associated policies.
