Suman is the CEO of Mirai International AG, Switzerland’s pioneering startup dedicated to cultivated meat. Under his leadership, Mirai has developed a groundbreaking cultivated beef steak, marking a significant stride toward sustainable and health-conscious meat production. Prior to co-founding Mirai, Suman advanced metabolic research at Novartis with a focus on skeletal muscle metabolism and earned his PhD from the Medical University of Graz in Austria, where he studied cancer-associated cachexia and fat metabolism. Passionate about transforming food systems for future generations, Suman continues to drive innovation at the intersection of biotechnology and sustainability.
