Dr. Charles Landry is Chief Scientific Officer at Scarab Genomics LLC, where he leads the development and implementation of production platforms built on the company’s proprietary Clean Genome bacteria. With more than 15 years of experience in industrial biotechnology, he oversees a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers focused on process development, optimization, and bioprocess scale-up, enabling effective technology transfer to commercial partners. Dr. Landry earned his PhD in Neurobiology from the University of Toronto. He is a strong advocate for integrating systems biology with industrial applications to accelerate innovation in sustainable manufacturing.
