Azeeza Sunmonu, EMEA Head of Commercial Operations & Excellence-Enterprise Solutions & Partnerships, GE Healthcare

Azeeza is the EMEA Head of Commercial Operations & Excellence for the Partnerships & Solutions business in GE Healthcare, covering the Europe, Middle East & Africa territories.   Her main area of expertise is helping companies bridge the gap between Sales, Legal, Operations and Finance functions, to ensure a balanced Risk to Reward ratio for businesses. With a dual degree in Law & Economics from Oxford Brookes university UK and an MBA from Columbus University USA, she has over 22 years’ experience working in several industries and regions, including Aerospace, Defence, FMCG, Energy and Healthcare - where she currently works.   She has worked with several Fortune 500 and FTSE 200 multinational companies - such as GE, Honeywell, Petrofac, Philips, KCA Deutag – in regional and global roles, to achieve or exceed growth targets, pivot company strategy to a new direction, or upskill sales and commercial team in achieving profitable contracts, for which she has garnered several awards and accolades. She's also a Board member of a non-profit organisation (Pharmacists Beyond Borders).   Azeeza is often sought after as an expert in her field, engaging in Consultancy roles and as a speaker or conference chair at professional conferences.   When she's not engrossed with work or family, Azeeza enjoys travelling, teaching, coaching, as well volunteering with non-profit organisations aimed at making life better for all. She's also an avid reader and fan of science fiction novels.
