Overcoming Challenges and Roadblocks: Implementing High-Throughput Automation in the Lab

Keeping up with the pace of the pharmaceutical industry requires continuous optimization of workflows and lab technology to accelerate research and development. While some scientists are afforded the luxury of building “labs of the future” from scratch, most are presented with the challenge of modernizing legacy labs. From budget restrictions to space constraints to hesitation to embrace change, the road to implementing high throughput and automation can be a bumpy one. Enthusiasm alone is not enough to convince others to adopt new technology. What are some things we can do to drive innovation and manage change?
