About the Pennsylvania Convention Center

The Pennsylvania Convention Center (PCC) is a major, multi‑use meeting facility located in Center City Philadelphia. Spanning four city blocks with over 1 million square feet of space, it includes exhibit halls, breakout rooms, a grand ballroom, and the historic Grand Hall—formerly the Reading Terminal train shed.

Parking & Getting There

Convenient garages and surface lots operated by providers such as ABM Parking, E‑Z Park, iParkit, Park America and SP+ are located within walking distance. Rates vary so checking current pricing is advised.

By public transport, the PCC is directly above SEPTA’s Jefferson Station. It’s also served by SEPTA Regional Rail (including 11th Street, Race–Vine, and Jefferson Station) and multiple bus routes (SEPTA lines 4, 16, 17, 23, 27, 33, 38, 44, 45, 48, 61, 62, 78, 124, 125), plus NJ Transit buses and the Philly PHLASH loop. Travelers also frequently use the Broad Street Line to Race–Vine Station or regional rail from suburban stations with parking; PATCO crossings are popular for New Jersey commuters.

Sustainability & Green Operations

We care deeply about making our events a sustainable as possible. The PCC wasn't just chosen for location but also for it's role in making the world a cleaner place. The PCC is certified under several sustainability standards, including EIC Sustainable Event Standards (Gold), LEED and GBAC STAR accreditation for cleaning and health protocols.

Key achievements include:

• 55 % increase in recycling tonnage and 54 % rise in waste diversion; 13 % reduction in electricity use; 30 % cut in natural gas consumption.
• Installation of energy-efficient LED lighting (nearly 1,000 fixtures replaced), reflective roofing, advanced HVAC and water-saving fixtures.
• Expanded recycling programs (single-stream, composting, electronics, construction waste, etc.) and elimination of single-use plastics.
• ASM Global Acts social responsibility program—investment in community outreach, educational programs, event donations and sustainability workshops.
