Environmental monitoring has traditionally focused on temperature, humidity and alarms. But the same technology can tell us far more about what is actually happening inside a laboratory. This session looks at how monitoring is evolving beyond its traditional role, creating new opportunities to understand space and equipment use, improve operational efficiency, reduce energy consumption and support better decisions. As laboratories become smarter and more connected, it may be time to rethink what we expect from the monitoring systems already around us.
