D.J. White, CEO & Co-Founder, Cytodyme

D.J. White is the CEO and co-founder of Cytodyme and a biotech leader with more than a decade of experience across GMP manufacturing, quality, and clinical development. He was part of the team behind one of the first approved cell and gene therapies at Kite Pharma and later helped establish a global manufacturing facility at ImmunityBio. At Calibr, part of Scripps Research, he led clinical efforts for an AbbVie-Scripps partnership advancing cell and gene therapy programs into the clinic. After repeatedly seeing quality and regulatory teams slowed by the same manual processes, he founded Cytodyme to build a better way to manage regulated work.

Day 2: 29th October @ 13:15

Rethinking Quality Systems for Life Sciences

Quality systems capture the record, but too often leave teams to manage the work around it manually. The result is a persistent industry-wide problem: work tracked across spreadsheets and inboxes, approval bottlenecks, fragmented information, and hours spent assembling evidence that already exists elsewhere. D.J. White, CEO of Cytodyme, will share how Cytodyme is using AI to reduce manual work across quality, manufacturing, and post-market processes, including a live example of automating time-consuming Certificate of Analysis generation. He’ll show how connected records and configurable workflows can preserve review and traceability while helping life sciences teams bring lifesaving products to patients faster.
