Ana Foley is the Associate Director of Culture and Community at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Her work focuses on organizational culture, team effectiveness, leadership development, and how people experience change at work. At Broad, Ana works across scientific, operational, and administrative teams on projects that range from team development and organizational change to mentorship, employee communities, and institute-wide culture initiatives. Ana is especially interested in a question that comes up whenever organizations change how work gets done: what do people need in order for the change to actually work? Her approach brings the human side of change into conversations about new systems, technology, and ways of working.
As labs move faster with AI, automation, and digital tools, one thing becomes clear: technology
scales quickly, but human dynamics don’t always keep up.
In this fast-paced, highly interactive session, participants will explore how their natural working style shows up under pressure, during cross-functional work, and in moments that require speed and precision. The goal is simple and practical: help smart, capable people work together more effectively in increasingly complex lab environments.
Participants will leave with language and tools they can use immediately with colleagues, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
