Paul is Chair, Smart Cities World.  Read by 1.3m people worldwide, Smart Cities World provides daily news coverage and weekly features about the fast-changing world of urban innovation.  Paul is also Senior Advisor at Open Agile Smart Cities with 170 city members. He is Honorary Research Fellow, University of Bristol Smart Internet Lab.  Until recently Paul was Chief Business Officer, Connected Places Catapult, the UK’s innovation accelerator for cities, transport, and place leadership. Paul draws on 30 years’ international leadership experience as CMO of $5Bn US Fintech Company SunGard, CMO of global digital transformation association TM Forum and CEO of WE-LEP. Paul founded Bristol Is Open, winning numerous international Smart City awards, and was a founder and Board member of UK5G. Paul combines an understanding of public policy processes and digital technology.  He has lived in London, Hong Kong and Geneva, and worked extensively in America. Today he lives with his family in Bristol, England.
