Laura leads #CovConnects, Coventry’s digital inclusion "ecosystem", working across public, private and VCSE sectors to support meaningful, community-led initiatives. In partnership with over 150 local organisations, #CovConnects aims to embed sustainable approaches to tackling digital inequalites - ensuring all residents have equitable access to digital tools, services and technologies that support their individual digital journeys. She has developed circular economy models through the #CovConnects Device Bank, repurposing NHS and council devices to address digital waste and digital exclusion in tandem. Laura also works closely with universities and research partners to enable evidence-led decision making and explore ways to measure the social impact of digital inclusion - positioning it as a wider determinant of health in Coventry. With a background in disability and neurodiversity inclusion across education, arts and culture, Laura is a committed advocate for accessible, inclusive service design and the role of technology in improving outcomes for residents.
