Rachaelle Litwin | Digital Access Support Team Manager

Rachaelle Litwin, Digital Access Support Team Manager, Colchester Borough Council

I have a varied and colourful 30+ years, working history within different roles and sectors, including Retail, Hospitality, Childcare, Policing, Health, Private, Public and Local Governement, all of which have provided me with some really fantastic opportunities and skills. One of my biggest passions is development, both personally and professionally, I love helping someone find a new passion, complete something they didnt think they could, realising they can do something, in fact anything that helps someone grow in confidence and ability, no matter what it is..  My current role as Digital Access Project Manager gives me the perfect platform to do this on a daily basis, not always hands on responsiblity, but definetely as the decision maker and creater of these opportunities, which is just as satisfying.  For example: One of our eldest clients is a 96year old lady, who now has the skills and confidence to communicate with every member of her family via video and text communications, she also has ownership of her health, by using the NHS App, I was part of her soloution, how amazing is that.   The same for the work I have initiated within our Refugee, Asylum and Migrant communities, providing guidance and digital skills knowledge, for themselves as well as for sharing within their own networks, help with employment and opportunities to be part of a volunteer work experience programme.   I am so lucky to have days where I am part of someones "Wow I did that" moment and they are magical.
