I am proud to lead one of the most innovative digital inclusion organisations in the UK.
We work with public, VCSE sector and corporates to support and deliver digital inclusion policy and practice.
We have a learning product based approach to digital inclusion which supports our clients to scale and sustain digital inclusion on the ground in an efficient and cost effective way. We have two learning products: Inpire and the Digital Champions Network.
Inspire - digital inclusion for the workplace
Approaching digital inclusion with a proactive, business as usual mindset means you won’t be reactive, or firefighting, down the line. It’ll save you time and money; it’ll prevent exclusionary products and services falling over, it’ll mitigate concerns about service/product take up. It will also build organisational knowledge, confidence and skills around the agenda.
We’re proving all of this with our Inspire training programme. The data is impressive.
• 92% have an increased understanding that DI matters in their organisation as an internal concern
• 89.6% have an increased understanding that DI matters for their external stakeholders
• 89.5% have an increased understanding that DI matters for friends, family and community
• 87.5% say that their confidence to support digital inclusion has increased.
Perhaps most significantly, 93.1% say that the likelihood of them taking action to promote digital inclusion has increased.
Digital Champions Network (DCN) - digital inclusion for communities
DCN supports the development of more ‘formal’ Digital Champions, who typically work in community and/or resident and service user facing roles on the front line of support. Formal DCs may be paid or voluntary roles, and what defines them both is their need for a greater range of skills to support a wider range of learners in a variety of settings. There are 27 CPD accredited courses on the DCN and 100s of supplementary resources. We also provide wrap around support to DCN members through additional training sessions, on and offline Meet Ups.
97% of those who use DCN courses, resources and support recommend them.
